Them 6′s, produced by Raz Fresco, is one of many bangers off the Arkansas Rapper’s second mixtape offering thus far. It is preceded by his Continental Keyz video which garnered 23k+ views on WSHH. In The video, Thraxx can be seen briefly visiting Rock City Kicks and then riding around his city on none other than 26″ rims. BriskInTheHouse, the ΒΛΚΞΓ$CLUΒ’s equivalent of GZA (in my opinion) has released the first set of visuals off his upcoming Buddha Ali: In The Mist For The Most project, an unrelated follow-up to his debut smooth Nujabe-assisted Samurai Champloo tape which borrows its name from the anime. Brisk uses his distinct sound and flow to create his own version of MF Doom’s “Rhinestone Cowboys” that is worthy to stand beside (or above) the original. His new project is sure to be a problem. EAZY! a song off P’s Blackk Friday got the visual treatment by Raz last week during P’s visit to Toronto. The video goes along with the dark theme of the tape and its corresponding visuals. P and Raz deliver strong verses over a simple, hard-hitting beat from Iye-Ball of Fly Union (who produced the whole Blackk Friday). Today is Black Friday and P Blackk’s tape which sports the same name as the holiday is upon us. The 12 track project executively produced by P is some real dope shit. Iye-Ball of Fly Union stepped in to handle all the production and he certainly did a=some very good work. P goes into depth on how he thinks and touches on a lot of serious issues with tracks like Spilled Milk, and Brainz but then seemlessly switches into dropping some fire on joints like EAZY!, Who I Am and Anim Blackyaw. Overall, the project is cohesive and once it soaks in, has much replay value. This release marks the Bakers Club’s 12th project and shows that there is no stopping in sight. There I said it.” Considering the clout and respect illMatic will forever hold in the Hip-Hop community, this statement is very big.
